Current Florida Nursing License;
Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS;
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN preferred; CNOR preferred;
Strong operating room nurse experience required;
Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors, and the public;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation;
Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures;
Perform excellent management of the operative patient;
Understands principles of aseptic technique with implementation;
Ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics;
Excellent standing with the Florida Board of Nursing;
Willingness to perform necessary downtime work;
Willingness to learn new tasks.
