We’re growing fast and looking for a motivated Business Development Specialist who thrives in B2B sales within the vacation home and short‑term rental industry. You’ll build and nurture relationships with homeowners, real estate agents, investors, and builders—while using your social media savvy to promote our brand, showcase stunning properties, generate leads, and position Tropical Escape as the go‑to management partner in Orlando.

This is more than sales—it’s about being the face and voice of our company in the field, closing deals, and helping property owners maximize their investment through our expert management. You’ll combine relationship‑building, strategic outreach, and creative digital promotion (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, etc.) to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and research potential clients (homeowners, real estate agents, investors, builders) in Orlando’s vacation home market
  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships through in‑person visits, networking events, and virtual outreach
  • Serve as the company’s on‑the‑ground ambassador — conducting property visits, owner consultations, and training sessions for real estate brokers and partners
  • Leverage social media to promote properties, share success stories, engage with the vacation rental community, and generate warm leads
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to create compelling proposals, marketing materials, and digital campaigns that win contracts
  • Negotiate favorable management agreements and clearly communicate terms to all stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of industry trends (short‑term rental regulations, market insights, social media strategies) and become a go‑to expert on our services and operations
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in vacation rentals, property management, real estate services, or related hospitality/investment fields
  • Comfortable and confident using social media for professional promotion, content sharing, lead generation, and community engagement (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In experience a big plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — you shine in one‑on‑one conversations, group presentations, and crafting persuasive messages
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of the vacation rental or real estate industry (quick learner who can become a subject matter expert)
  • Creative problem‑solver with innovative ideas to meet client needs and close deals
  • Bi‑ or multi‑lingual skills are a plus
