Sales Representative

Job Description

Blue Water Industries, a growing Aggregate & Sand producer is currently hiring for a Sales Representative for the Florida market. Blue Water Industries offers highly competitive compensation & a full benefits package.

• Call on and develop relationships with customers across the market to meet their needs.
• Set annual sales goals specific to price, tonnage and revenue.
• Input sales quotes & produce monthly sales reports.
• Identify new customer opportunities.
• Effectively communicate with operations to ensure plants are meeting customer needs and that proper inventory levels are sufficiently maintained.
• Work closely with credit department regarding new accounts and accounts receivable.
• Follow all safety rules/procedures and lead by example.

• Associate degree with 2 years of relevant aggregates or other heavy industry related sales experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check.

• Industry Knowledge – basic knowledge of how customers use our products (i.e. concrete, asphalt, construction etc.)
• Knowledge of aggregate operations, quality control, products, and dispatch
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be proficient in using a computer.
• Good time management skills and the ability to forecast sales.
• Ability to read and understand financials.
