BDC Agent - Customer Service - Jarrett Gordon Ford Davenport

We are expanding our department! Jarrett Gordon Ford is a fast-growing dealership and a dynamic leader in the car industry. We are looking to add a Business Development Center (BDC) Agent who will excel at customer experience and setting appointments for our dealership. The ideal candidate will be a people person, energetic, and professional. The BDC Agent will spend the work day on the computer and telephone. They will also respond to internet and telephone customer inquiries and make outbound calls.

• Contact, build rapport, and set appointments with customers.
• Cover the receptionist/switchboard operator when business need requires it.
• Record all customer lead notations and comments in the Customer Relations Management (CRM) Software System.
• Become fully knowledgeable of the products and services offered.
• Understand local competitors and be prepared to compete with them.
• Be punctual with all work schedules and meetings.
• Excellent, positive behavior is a must!
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Previous experience in customer service in an automotive dealership is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills.
• Experience using DMS and scheduling software systems.
• Experience in taking incoming phone calls and making outbound phone calls.
• Flexible schedule to include Saturdays when needed.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
