Utility Revenue Specialist

CEIS Power is seeking a Utility Revenue Specialist to support accurate and timely utility billing by identifying, investigating, and resolving billing discrepancies. This position is on a contract-to-hire basis, and our client, a leading utility service provider, is looking for a motivated individual to join their fast-paced, growing team. The right person for this role will excel under pressure, adapt to rapid change, and ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• Recent college graduates strongly encouraged to apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies using the Customer Service System (CSS)
• Process billing corrections and adjustments in compliance with company procedures and audit standards
• Interpret and apply utility tariffs, billing policies, and regulatory requirements
• Research customer billing issues as directed
• Maintain accurate billing records using Excel spreadsheets
• Contribute to documentation of billing procedures and recommend process improvements
• Assist with ad‑hoc billing projects as needed
