Job Summary/Description:

We're looking for a dynamic Digital Anchor/Producer who's ready to redefine morning news in the Quad Cities, delivering essential updates with urgency and authenticity wherever our audience is watching. If you're a digital journalist who thrives on innovation and has a passion for local impact, this is your moment to shine.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Produce digital content:
Drive the creation of compelling news updates for  and all our streaming platforms, ensuring our online audience is always in the know.
Engage on social media:
Actively assist in managing and interacting with our community across various social channels, extending our reach and conversation.
Front morning news:
Bring your energy to the QCT morning show at 6 a.m., delivering key stories and updates directly to our broadcast viewers.
Host livestream newscasts:
Own the post-morning show experience by hosting an immediate, engaging livestream newscast at 7 a.m., keeping the digital momentum going.
Anchor breaking news:
Be the calm, authoritative voice our community trusts for breaking news updates throughout the day, across all digital channels.
Launch a consistent streaming plan:
Pioneer and establish a reliable news streaming schedule, ensuring our audience has continuous online updates during critical times (this is a big one!).
Master local storytelling:
Get comfortable and confident fronting new, vital information directly to the Quad Cities community, becoming a trusted local voice.
