Setting: Hospital, Outpatient
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive neurological care at both Mercy One Genesis Neurology Clinic and Genesis Medical Center
Participate in a shared call rotation with 4 neurologists
Manage a broad range of neurological conditions (stroke, epilepsy, MS, headaches, movement disorders)
Collaborate with hospitalists, PCPs, and specialists
Contribute to growth of the neurology program
Required Procedures: General neurology (no specific procedural requirements noted)
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 4 neurologists, 5 NPs, 1 neuropsychologist
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Shared call and weekend rotation with neurology team
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurology (within 3 years of residency and BC within 1 year of employment) REQUIRED
IA medical license (or ability to obtain) REQUIRED
Willingness to work in a blended inpatient/outpatient model REQUIRED
Willingness to participate in shared call rotation REQUIRED
