About the Position

Position Overview
An accredited, community-based cancer institute in   Davenport   is seeking a  Hematology/Oncology Physician  to join an established team of four Oncologists and two Nurse Practitioners. This physician-led program offers a collaborative environment with access to advanced oncology services and strong inpatient support.

Clinics are located in Davenport, IA and   Silvis  , with additional regional coverage.

Practice Highlights

Join a well-established oncology team

Community-based hospital program

Collaborative services including:

Radiation oncology

Genetic testing

Clinical trials

Infusion services

Inpatient consultations primarily at the local medical center in Davenport

Shared call schedule

Strong hospitalist support for inpatient care

Physician-led medical group promoting leadership and work-life balance

Autonomy to help shape and grow the practice

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in  Hematology  – Required

Board Certified or Board Eligible in  Medical Oncology  – Required

Board Eligible candidates must be within 3 years of residency and obtain certification within 1 year of employment

Iowa and Illinois medical licenses (or willing to obtain) – Required

DEA (or able to obtain prior to start) – Required

CSR/CDA (or able to obtain prior to start) – Required

Clean malpractice history preferred

Not accepting locums candidates

Not accepting visa candidates

Cannot accept providers with malpractice cases in probate or requiring supervision

Competitive compensation with two-year income guarantee, transitioning to wRVU model
