Overview
Scott County Catholic Schools (SCCS) in Davenport and Bettendorf, IA is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled, educational leader to join Scott County Catholic Schools as their new President effective July 1, 2026.
The Scott County Catholic Schools serve students early childhood through 12th-grade from across the Quad Cities in southeast Iowa and Illinois, serving over 2300 students. Established in 2022, the President of Scott County Catholic Schools will lead 5 Iowa state-accredited schools dedicated to providing students with a premier education that will prepare them for a lifetime of success as a faith-filled and active Catholics.
The focus of the Scott County Catholic Schools is on achieving academic and personal excellence as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Scott County Catholic Schools is located on the banks of the Mississippi River.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will guide four parish-based elementary schools and one consolidated high school, lead a city-wide Catholic school governance model, and drive strategic planning to achieve the mission of forming disciples of Jesus Christ through educational excellence.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who holds a valid Iowa Administrative Licensure for the Superintendency (endorsement #171) or the ability to successfully complete requirements leading to the endorsement.
