Required Qualifications- Master's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, counseling, career services, or a related field.
- Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in student services, advising, career services, or related areas.
- Two years of management or supervisory experience in higher education.
- Demonstrated success providing strategic enrollment leadership within a multi-college or district-level community college environment.
- Experience overseeing admissions, enrollment services, and/or registrar operations, including supervision of professional staff.
- Proven ability to use enrollment and student success data to improve recruitment, retention, persistence, and completion outcomes.
- Experience implementing or supporting Guided Pathways-aligned enrollment and onboarding practices.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities- Core Dean Responsibilities & Student Support Functions - Provides district wide leadership in the design, implementation, assessment and continuous improvement of academic advising and career services aligned with EICC's strategic plan and Guided Pathways model.
- Provides leadership, supervision, and professional development for managers and staff within functional area.
- Develops and manages district wide budgets related to functional area, ensuring responsible resource allocation aligned with institutional priorities.
- Advances equitable student success outcomes.
- Drives decisions using actionable student and operational data.
- Executes institutional strategy within functional area.
- Partners across divisions to remove silos and improve outcomes.
- Responsible for campus-based duties including but not limited to;
Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures, New Student Orientation, Administrator on Call and Title IX. - Provides leadership and participation on district wide committees, councils, and task forces.
- Travel within the District is expected for this position.

- Develops and oversees a case-managed advising structure that supports consistent, holistic academic and career planning across all EICC locations.
- Leads efforts to embed career and transfer planning throughout the student lifecycle, from onboarding and program mapping through completion and post-completion outcomes.
- Collaborates with Academic Affairs, Continuing Education, and college leadership to strengthen alignment between programs of study and regional labor market needs.
- Establishes and maintains strong transfer partnerships with public and private colleges and universities to ensure seamless student transitions. Works closely with academic affairs to stay informed and up to date with articulation agreements.
- Oversees academic and career planning operations to ensure students develop clear, purposeful academic and career plans that support persistence, completion, and employment or transfer outcomes.
- Leads the use of student success data and early alert systems through our CRM (Element 451) to monitor progress and implement proactive, targeted interventions and programming for at-risk students.
- Champions the use of technology and data systems that enhance advising effectiveness, academic planning, and career readiness across the district.
- Oversees the PACE and TRIO grants.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, accreditation standards (including HLC), transfer regulations, and institutional policies.
