Salary: $115K - $130K
Bonus: $10K - $15K

Job Summary:
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining foundry processes to ensure high-quality castings, cost efficiency, and safe operations. This role works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve process performance, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize casting processes, including melting, pouring, molding, and cooling
- Analyze production data to identify process inefficiencies, defects, and variability
- Implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce scrap, and control costs
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for foundry operations
- Work with quality teams to investigate root causes of casting defects (e.g., porosity, inclusions, shrinkage)
- Monitor and control critical process parameters such as temperature, chemistry, and cycle times
- Support new product introduction (NPI), including tooling design, gating/risering systems, and process validation
