Onsite/RemoteOnsite Position
Your Responsibilities- Support daily operations by responding to tactical quality issues in a shop floor environment. Validate non‑conformances, investigate, contain, and resolve quality non‑conformances within the production process.
- Use production quality data to identify projects, execute short‑term containment, investigate root cause, and drive long‑term corrective actions and mistake proofing.
- Provide clear and timely communication to management, operations and cross‑functional teams for active quality issues.
- Lead quality planning and execution discussions, including risk analysis, risk mitigation, control plans, dimensional analysis, and strategic quality improvements. Maintain current and historical quality performance documentation metrics.
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) process on the shop floor – improving and implementing departmental Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Delivery, Ergonomic and Cost reduction projects.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and product design to drive inherent quality into our processes and products.

What Skills You Need- An effective communicator who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment.
- Experience demonstrating technical aptitude in welding, machining, automation, and assembly.
- Experience with root cause analysis, NCCA, PFMEA, corrective action, mistake proofing or digital process control tools.
- A self‑starter with the ability to execute multiple tasks in parallel with little supervision.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and summarize trend data to make sound decisions.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours to support variable shift production operations, when required.
- Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, and GD&T.
- 3+ years of quality, manufacturing, or operations experience in fabrication and/or paint operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Work experience involving the hands‑on use of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, DPAR, PPAP, DMAIC, Six Sigma and 8D Problem Solving.
- Knowledge of basic data analysis techniques (pareto charts, histograms, pie and bar charts, and control plans).
- JDAAT Admin/authoring experience.
- Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.).
- Experience with automation or robotics projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Weld Engineering. Others may apply.

Salary: $77,628.00 - $ + Benefits.
