Controls Engineer

Experience

Required:

• AS Degree in an Engineering Discipline
• At least 1 year of work experience in the controls/automation field
• Experience with Ladder Logic
• Mechanical Aptitude

Qualities Needed:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to multi-task on multiple projects at different stages

Nice To Have:

• BS Degree in an engineering discipline
• 3-5 or more years work experience in controls engineering
• Experience with Allen Bradley family of logic controllers and associated ladder logic, esp RS Logix
  5000
• Robotics programming, e.g. Fanuc, ABB S3 / S4

Duties:

• Preparation of system quotations and runoff - lead engineering, SW & process development and programming
• Serve as a technical resource to Customers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers
• Provide consulting, lead engineering of new designs for customers products
• Debugging operation of workcells
• Evaluate, select and develop new applications for emerging technologies
• Responsible for system startups at customer facility
