Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance

Arconic is currently in search of a Mechanical Engineer to join our Central Maintenance team based in our Davenport, IA location.

The Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical engineering services to the Central Maintenance department to safely meet Arconic’s business plan for engineering, production, maintenance, and quality standards. In this role, you will serve as a critical team member to optimize the safety, efficiency, output, and quality of our plant infrastructure (including but not limited to machine tools & roll grinding equipment, buildings, grounds, water systems, compressed air systems, environmental systems, and cranes) and manufacturing processes.

This position is responsible for mechanical system integration for assigned area projects to create, sustain, or improve manufacturing infrastructure, equipment, and processes.

The Mechanical Engineer reports to the Central Engineering and Capex Manager in the department and will work Monday through Friday during daytime hours, while supporting off-shifts as needed for your respective projects.
