Fire Marshal

Constellation Energy seeks a Fire Marshal to lead fire and life safety programs across power generation and energy facilities. In this role, you will develop and enforce fire codes, conduct risk assessments and inspections, and ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and local regulations. The Fire Marshal will investigate incidents, maintain emergency response plans, and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and security teams.

You will train employees, oversee drills, evaluate suppression and alarm systems, and support permitting and construction reviews, helping safeguard people, assets, and critical energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce fire and life safety programs across energy facilities
• Conduct regular fire risk assessments, audits, and facility inspections
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, state, and local fire codes and standards
• Investigate fire incidents and near-misses and prepare technical reports
• Maintain and update emergency response and evacuation plans
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and security on fire safety issues
• Oversee testing and performance of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems
• Provide fire safety training and drills for employees and contractors
• Review construction, renovation, and equipment changes for fire code compliance
• Liaise with local fire departments and regulatory agencies as needed
