Travel Interventional Radiology Technician

Overview

Travel Interventional Radiology Technician role in Davenport, IA. 13‑week contract, 40 hours per week. Provides diagnostic imaging and administers radiopharmaceuticals under direction of interventional radiology physicians.

• Assist physicians in interventional procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans.
• Administer small amounts of radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain patient safety and uphold infection control practices.
• Document findings and communicate observations to the interventional radiology team.

• Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Imaging or related field.
• Valid state license/credentialing as Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related imaging modalities.
• Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
