We are seeking a key player for the role of Safety Manager. As the Safety Manager you will be asked to engage with all levels of the workforce to maintain and comply with regulatory standards of Federal, State, and Local agencies. A large part of your responsibilities will be in maintaining and advancing a safety-based culture within a large manufacturing operation.
This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Safety Management or related
- 3-5 years of Safety management within a manufacturing effort
- Solid knowledge of Safety and Regulatory Compliance to include OSHA
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail with strong reporting capabilities
- Ability to engage a diverse workforce in establishing continued safety efforts.
