Project Manager - Senior Network Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager - Senior Network Engineer to join our team on a Contract to permanent position in Davenport, Iowa. In this role, you will lead the deployment and implementation of network, server, and Microsoft-related projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. You will also play a pivotal role in security operations, contributing technical expertise to incident response activities.

• Oversee the deployment and configuration of network, server, and Microsoft-related projects, ensuring all deliverables meet specifications.
• Provide technical leadership in physical networking, Windows and Linux server environments, and the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Entra  Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows PCs, MacOS, printers, firewalls, switches, and other infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with security teams to offer technical expertise during incident response activities.
• Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Optimize server and network performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and implement best practices across systems.
• Conduct system upgrades and migrations to maintain up-to-date infrastructure.
• Document processes and provide training to enhance team capabilities.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and project management.
• Advanced knowledge of server administration, including Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Entra , and Exchange Online.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across diverse systems.
• Proven experience in infrastructure deployment and configuration.
• Familiarity with firewall technologies, including Fortinet firewalls.
• Effective communication skills to bridge technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments, particularly during incident response activities.
