This Maintenance Lead position will have the incredible opportunity to support our new industrial liquid paint lineer's design, installation, and maintenance planning. Work in a brand-new facility with new equipment, new tools, and an environment that will allow you the freedom to lay the groundwork for all things plant and system maintenance moving forward.
Location: Davenport, IA
Starting Pay: $24 /hour
Job Type: Full-time (1st Shift)

- Survey building and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
- Perform maintenance and repairs (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing) to all facility equipment and tools to keep all facility equipment functioning correctly.
- Conduct repairs on down equipment.
- Problem‑solving, critical thinking skills & be proactive in preventing obstacles.
- Conduct regular cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Keep up‑to‑date maintenance records on all equipment.
- Assist with maintenance employee training and assessments.
- Work with 3rd party vendors for ordering, maintaining, and purchasing maintenance and facility‑related products and tools.
- Utilize appropriate systems and tools to communicate and record progress on job duties.
- Operate Fork Trucks, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, and Floor scrubbers.
- Perform mobile equipment training and certification observations.
- Assist with lab support and any systems, tanks, and equipment cleanouts.
- Maintain the safety of the facility and equipment per company policies and report any potential safety issues to management.
- Participate in monthly and annual budget planning with Plant Manager.
- Demonstrate proper discretion when ordering shop tools and equipment.
- Dictate tasks, goals, and projects to other maintenance team members (document).
- Bending, standing, and lifting required.
- Good communication skills and follow‑up.
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Support facility with on‑call situations and emergency line‑down activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience (5+ years) or comparable maintenance experience in multiple areas:
Electrical, Mechanical, Pipe fitting, and Welding. - Previous industrial coating or paint production experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience with 2KE & 2KS Paint Systems is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge and demonstrated track record of following safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to work with computer software programs and proficiency in using all Microsoft applications.
- Must be able to lift parts up to 50 lbs.
