Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cut grass with large 16’ gang mower, small tractor, and push mower
• Trim grounds as directed with string trimmer
• Pick up trash around school grounds
• Empty trash receptacles
• Operate power washer
• Move freight and make deliveries as needed
• Operate freight truck and dump truck
• Deliver mulch and dirt to facilities
• Other duties as assigned

Good attendance and punctuality are essential for successful job performance.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs
• Walk/stand continuously
• Climb ladders
• Squat/bend frequently
• Work on uneven ground and climb steps

In addition, candidates must meet all general qualifications listed in the Davenport Community School District maintenance job description.
