Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Meadowview of Davenport, a Cassia community, is hiring a Housekeeper to join our team at Davenport, IA! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

As a Housekeeper at Meadowview of Davenport, you will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal. Our ideal candidate displays a compassionate, positive attitude, and strives for personal excellence.

Full-Time or On-Call/PRN working a varying schedule, weekends required

Days

• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain facilities and common areas.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of common areas/restrooms.
• Clean and perform light housekeeping in resident apartments as requested.
• Clean, vacuum, mop, and disposeof waste in assigned areas.
• Maintain equipment, custodial closet, and cart in a clean/orderly fashion.
• Sanitation of Assisted Living Facilities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Must have full mobility.
• Is compassionate, motivated, and a self-starter.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working with seniors and vulnerable adults preferred, but not required.
• Background check required.
