SVP - Lending

Angott Search Group is partnering with The Family Credit Union in their search for a strategic and collaborative Senior Vice President of Lending
. This executive leader will oversee all lending operations and drive sustainable loan growth, strong credit quality, and an exceptional member experience.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and plays a critical role in shaping the organization’s long-term lending strategy and financial performance. The SVP of Lending provides executive leadership for consumer, mortgage, and business lending programs while ensuring sound risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This leader will guide lending strategy, product innovation, and team development in alignment with the credit union’s mission and growth objectives.

• Provide strategic leadership across all lending functions
• Oversee consumer, real estate, and commercial lending operations
• Develop and implement lending policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Drive loan growth while maintaining strong credit quality and risk management
• Lead, mentor, and develop lending managers and staff
• Evaluate and introduce competitive lending products and programs
• Manage departmental budgeting and performance metrics
• Participate in executive leadership initiatives, strategic planning, and ALCO
• Oversee collections strategy and assist with complex credit situations
• Ensure compliance with NCUA regulations, state laws, and internal policies
• Represent the credit union within the community and industry

• Executive-level lending leadership experience within a credit union or community financial institution
• Strong background in consumer, mortgage, and business lending
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive growth, and manage credit risk
• Strategic, collaborative leader committed to member service excellence
