Job Title Material Coordinator

Duration 20 Months (Strong possibility of extension)

Job Description:

• Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, and the movement of rejected material to source.
• Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management. Finds root cause of material shortages.
• May provide recommendations for solutions.
• Utilizes Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
• May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
• Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance.
• Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production. Works critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
• This position will focus in the inventory accuracy aspects of the Material Coordinator position outlined above in job description.
• This position performs root cause analysis and problem resolution related to the inventory cycle count process and resolves production inventory issues.

Required skills:

• ADVANCED MS Excel user, spreadsheet analysis, functions, charting. Ability to collect data from various sources and problem solve.
• Ability to interact with multiple functional groups to collect data and resolve issues. Manager looking for candidates to have degree in Business related field.
• High attention to detail is a must.
• Business casual dress code and this person will need steel toed metatarsal safety shoes on first day.
