Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer (OFP Assembly ME)
Location:
Davenport, IA
Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Overtime: 5–8 hours when requested
Your ResponsibilitiesAs an OFP Assembly Manufacturing Engineer supporting the Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) assembly line, you will:
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Lead and manage small to moderate capital projects
- Establish and maintain assembly layouts, labor standards, methods, and sequences
- Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for current assembly operations
- Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements
- 3+ years of experience in:
- Manufacturing processes
- Quality systems
- Tooling
- Preventative maintenance
- Experience using engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Proven ability to lead and implement projects in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Self‑motivated
, with ability to work with minimal supervision - Strong accountability and follow-through
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering / Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
