Job Title: Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer (Recent Grad)

Location: Davenport, IA 52809
Assignment Length: 1 Year+ (Possible Extension)
Position Type: Contract/Contingent
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) |
Overtime may be requested (5-8 hours)

About the Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the Articulated Dump Truck assembly line at our Davenport location, you’ll jump right into hands‑on projects aimed at improving safety, quality, and efficiency. It’s the perfect opportunity for a recent grad to apply your degree and make a real impact!

What You'll Do:
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Lead and support small to moderate capital projects to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Help establish and optimize assembly operations
    , including layouts, labor standards, and methods.
  • Troubleshoot and develop solutions to improve current assembly processes and technologies.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Recent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related fields).
  • Passion for manufacturing processes and making things run smoothly.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to learn on the job
    .
  • Good communicator—able to work with operators, team members, and leadership.
  • Self‑starter who can work independently and take initiative on projects.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills (Not Required):
  • Familiar with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems
    .
  • Hands‑on project leadership experience, even if it’s from school or internships.
