Manufacturing Engineer

Location:

Davenport, IA 52809 Duration: 12+ month contract (Possibility of extension)

Shift: 1st Shift (generally 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; some flexibility may be available)

Job Summary:

Onsite from Day 1 Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekends as business needs require

Qualifications:

• Minimal experience required
• Recent engineering graduates and entry-level engineers are encouraged to apply
• Engineering degree preferred; however, relevant manufacturing or production experience will also be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on shop floor support for assembly operations to maintain production flow and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot production, quality, tooling, and material issues to ensure efficient assembly line performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through process enhancements, work order creation, and basic fixture/tooling design.
• Utilize SAP, Microsoft Office, and MP Planner to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Working Conditions:

• Position requires frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Metatarsal footwear is required.
• All other necessary PPE will be provided.
