Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Are you a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner seeking a new and rewarding position? We are hiring a full-time permanent NNP to join our Level II Nursery/NICU, located outside of Davenport, IA. Schedule: Full-time status entails 8 – 24-hour in-house shifts per month.

Position overview: The NNP will be responsible for providing the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of neonates under the supervision of pediatricians. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, resuscitating, and stabilizing patients, as well as stabilizing babies for transport to other hospital systems that require a higher level of care. The NNP will also participate in the ongoing competency assessment program for the maintenance of advanced neonatal knowledge and skills of nursing staff.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited NNP program, NNP Certification, and experience in a NICU for a minimum of two years. Illinois license or IL license eligible.
