Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized orthopedic nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare patients for orthopedic surgeries, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist surgical teams by anticipating their needs and managing intraoperative equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes promptly.
• Maintain sterile techniques and cleanliness throughout procedures.
• Document patient information, surgical data, and post-operative care details accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage during weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid accreditation.
• Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic OR nursing experience.
• Ability to work flexible start times between  and during on-call shifts.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
