Minimum 3 years preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $110/hour
- Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

- Provide diagnostic assessments and prescribe pharmacological treatments for mental health conditions
- Develop and implement non-pharmacological therapies and care plans
- Synthesize patient data to inform clinical decisions and monitor outcomes
- Educate patients about medications, review lab results, and order necessary tests
- Document medical treatments, assessments, and patient progress accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
- Follow professional standards and organizational policies to maintain high-quality care
- Valid licensure as an RN and as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in Iowa
- Certification as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or other approved body
- Minimum of 3 years related clinical experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of mental health assessment, psychotropic medications, and managed care concepts
- Strong communication skills and professional manner
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus
This position involves providing comprehensive mental health services within a dedicated behavioral health unit. The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions.
