Duration: 6 Months (Potential to extend or convert depending on business) Shift Schedules:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety audits and inspections.
- Identify compliance issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain safety documentation and compliance records.
- Enter and manage data in internal systems.
- Train and coach managers and associates on safety procedures.
- Support OSHA compliance, workers' compensation, and emergency response activities.
- Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EHS, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field; OR a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, particularly 29 CFR 1910.
- Professional experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field.
- Experience in workplace safety, workers' compensation, and incident management.
- Emergency response training/certifications.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, healthcare, or logistics environments.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting job hazard analyses and risk assessments.
- Passion for workplace safety and continuous improvement.
