The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for proficiency in all areas of a specialty retail farm and ranch store and supports the Store Manager in delivering financial results, Legendary Customer Experience, Team Member development, and daily store execution. The role provides leadership across sales, service, opening and closing routines, front-end execution, compliance, and operational activities as assigned by the Store Manager.
In the updated store operating model, Assistant Store Manager responsibilities align to store-volume leadership structure and may transition into Store Operations Manager ownership in designated stores.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)It is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime, as dictated by business needs.
- Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
- Use A+ Coaching routines to develop Team Members, improve selling behaviors, and reinforce consistent operating standards.
- Assist the Store Manager with overall store operations, including driving sales and profit, planning and prioritizing work, delegating daily tasks, and reviewing and completing ACT missions.
- Support Customer loyalty, selling skills, monthly training, and a culture of product knowledge across the store.
- Support hiring efforts, recruiting, Team Member training, continuous learning, coaching, and application of policies and procedures.
