Overview
Quik-Kill Pest Eliminators is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to creatively sell new business in the Davenport area.
This is a true hunter role. If you are not comfortable cold calling by phone and foot (door-to-door) every day, this position will not be a fit.
This is NOT an order-taking role. You will be responsible for generating your own opportunities, initiating conversations, handling objections, and closing business. For the right person, this role offers strong earning potential, autonomy, and long-term growth.
- Base Pay: $20/hour ($41,600 annually)
- Commission: Uncapped commissions on closed sales
- First-Year Earnings: $72,000+ achievable

You’ll focus heavily on proactive outreach to decision-makers in industries with consistent, recurring pest control needs, including:
- Hospitality: hotels, motels, extended-stay properties
- Multi-Family Housing: apartment complexes, property management companies
- Healthcare: nursing homes, assisted living, medical offices
- Food & Beverage: restaurants, bars, commercial kitchens, food processing
- Retail & Commercial Buildings: strip malls, offices, warehouses
- Property Management & Real Estate
- Residential customers with urgent needs (bed bugs, termites)
- Cold call daily by phone and in person (door-to-door/foot canvassing)
- Prospect and develop new residential and commercial customers
- Conduct on-site inspections and assess pest issues
- Present clear, confident service recommendations and pricing
- Overcome objections and close new business
- Manage your sales pipeline and follow up consistently
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Represent Quik-Kill Pest Eliminators professionally in the field
- Proven cold-calling experience is REQUIRED (phone and door-to-door)
- Outside sales experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
- Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills
- Competitive, self-motivated, and goal-driven
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn pest control services (training provided)
