• As a Security Officer at Mercy One, provide a physical presence for the purpose of prevention and/or detection of adverse conditions which would place the safety and security of the hospital environment at risk while protecting welfare of patients, visitors, staff and facility assets.
• Interact with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communicate in situations that can be difficult or stressful and handle complex, sensitive topics. Work toward gaining the agreement of others where needed.

• Day shifts; every other weekend (2:00 am - 2:30 pm) and holiday requirements.

• Valid Drivers License
• Basic Life Support and CPI within 60 days
• Law enforcement or criminal justice coursework preferred

• High School diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $17.04 - $24.70. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
