Security​/Loss Prevention Officer

Immediate opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer in Davenport, IA

• Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit Television
• Report writing
• Interact with local law enforcement agencies as needed
• Provide courtroom testimony as required

Full-time: 40 hours per week

$21.00 per hour. Paid Time Off, 401(k), Health Insurance.

• Pre‑Employment criminal background and drug screen
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports
• Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated
• Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old and meet State of Iowa requirements for Security Guard License, including driver’s license record and criminal background checks

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
