Fusion Studios AV is part of Fusion Studios, a creative company serving the Quad Cities. We specialize in professional audio-visual installations, livestream setups, sound systems, projection, and video solutions for churches, businesses, and events.
Job SummaryWe’re looking for a skilled AV Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with sound systems, video displays, projectors, cameras, and cable management. You’ll work on installations, upgrades, and live event setups for clients in the Quad Cities area.
Responsibilities- Install and configure audio, video, and lighting equipment in client spaces
- Run and terminate cables (audio, video, network) cleanly and efficiently
- Mount speakers, displays, projectors, and cameras safely
- Perform system testing, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Work with contractors and team members to complete installs on time
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Communicate with clients professionally during on-site work
- Experience with AV systems, installs, or live production preferred
- Strong knowledge of audio and video signal flow
- Ability to lift/mount equipment (up to 50 lbs) safely
- Comfortable using power tools, ladders, and lifts
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule — occasional evenings/weekends as projects require
- Experience with livestream setups (vMix, Pro Presenter, PTZ cameras)
- Knowledge of acoustics and sound calibration
- CTS or other AV certifications
- Contract or part-time position (with opportunity to grow)
- Pay based on experience: $18–$28/hr
- Flexible scheduling around project timelines
