Heavy Equipment Operator, Construction Labor & Trades, Maintenance Worker
Compensation: up to $25 per hour (DOE) + Comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Install underground water, sewer, and storm piping.
- Assist with excavation, grading, back filling, and site cleanup.
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Assist pipe crews with measuring, fitting, and laying underground utilities.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, and other construction equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
- Perform daily equipment inspections when assigned.
- Work closely with foremen and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or underground utility experience preferred, but willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
