1st Shift Maintenance Technician

• Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose basic PLC issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Safely work with 3-phase and 480V electrical systems.
• Complete maintenance documentation and PM records.
• Support equipment repairs, facility maintenance, and occasional welding tasks.
• Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and resolve maintenance needs.

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with 3-phase and 480V systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.

• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Furnace or heat-treating equipment experience.
• Basic welding skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Stable 1st shift schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday)

Work in a clean, well-maintained heat-treating facility equipped with vacuum furnaces and quench systems. The environment can be warm due to high-temperature equipment and requires adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
