- Assist seasoned Service Technicians with installation and repair of environmental control systems
- Service products, equipment, and systems at customer locations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify, examine, diagnose, and plan equipment repairs
- Work with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations
- Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
- Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
- Enforce high safety standards
- Maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets
- Participate in the Trane Commercial HVAC Technician Apprenticeship Program, including paid instruction and on-the-job training
- No industry experience required
- Must be at least 18 years of age when starting
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years
- Strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world
- Technical school certificates and/or formal HVAC training/experience are not required but may be considered when determining proficiency level and starting compensation
- Must meet safety-sensitive role requirements, which may include additional drug screening
Demonstrates the ability to assist in the installation and repair of environmental control systems while adhering to safety standards. Capable of diagnosing equipment issues and collaborating with technicians and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
