Apprentice Technician

Assist seasoned Service Technicians with installation and repair of environmental control systems
Apply knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts
Service products, equipment, and systems at customer locations
Identify, examine, diagnose, and plan equipment repairs
Work with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers to understand on-site installation requirements
Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
Enforce high safety standards
Maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets

• No industry experience required
• Must be at least 18 years of age when starting
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license held for a minimum of 12 months
• No major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years
• Technical school certificates and/or formal HVAC training/experience are not required but may be considered when determining proficiency level and starting compensation
• Strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world around you
• Safety Sensitive role may require passing additional drug screening

Demonstrates knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, and pipe fitting while assisting in the installation and repair of environmental control systems. Capable of diagnosing equipment issues and maintaining high safety standards in a service environment.
