About the Role:

The Parts Delivery role is essential in ensuring the timely and accurate transportation of parts from warehouses to various client locations across the Quad Cites Area. This position requires a dependable individual who can manage delivery schedules efficiently while maintaining the integrity and condition of the parts during transit. The successful candidate will act as a key link between the supply chain and end customers, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Ultimately, the Parts Delivery professional supports the business by facilitating smooth logistics operations and fostering positive client relationships through reliable service. This is a full time position, M - F 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the delivery vehicle class.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read delivery instructions and complete paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in parts delivery or logistics within the automotive or machinery industry.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
• Customer service experience demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport parts to designated locations within scheduled time frames.
• Load and unload parts carefully to prevent damage and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation upon receipt by customers.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
• Assist with inventory management by reporting discrepancies or damaged parts encountered during delivery.
