Job Summary
Part‑time employee assists in a warehouse environment with the receiving, unloading, breakdown and distribution of newspaper bundles to proper work stations or storage areas within the warehouse.
Employee is also responsible for the accurate distribution of newspapers by route to the home delivery carrier force, and for the secure storage and distribution of carrier supplies such as bags and bands.
Duties also include the inspection and routine cleaning of warehouse equipment, stacking of pallets and cardboard in the proper locations for return to the respective publications.
Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and break down newspaper bundles.
- Distribute newspapers by route to the home delivery carrier force.
- Securely store and distribute carrier supplies such as bags and bands.
- Inspect and routinely clean warehouse equipment.
- Stack pallets and cardboard in proper locations for return to publications.
