Are you a qualified Vehicle Technician looking for your next career move? We are recruiting an experienced Automotive Technician on behalf of a well-established client. The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will carry out the full range of mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance across a variety of vehicles. Day-to-day duties include:
* Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using industry-standard diagnostic equipment
* Performing repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and electrical systems
* Conducting thorough vehicle inspections in line with manufacturer specifications
* Maintaining accurate workshop records of all inspections, repairs, and parts used
* Ensuring all work meets health and safety regulations and company procedures
* Delivering excellent customer service and communicating repair requirements clearly to customers
Hours & Pay
* Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)
* Bonus scheme: negotiable for the right candidate
* Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexible)
* Saturday overtime: available for those who want it
* Holiday: 28 days per year including bank holidays
Essential Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician
* Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
* Ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle faults independently
* Solid knowledge of vehicle systems and routine maintenance procedures
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload in a fast-paced workshop
* Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
