Northamptonshire (with travel to customer sites) Competitive Salary Overtime Company Van Full Time | Permanent Join Our Team Are you an experienced Plant Fitter or Service Engineer who takes pride in delivering outstanding workmanship and exceptional customer service? We are looking for a skilled and motivated Plant Fitter to join our growing team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, providing servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment both in our depot and at customer sites.

The Role Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to plant and machinery. Servicing and maintaining equipment to minimise breakdowns and downtime. Attending customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance work. Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. Ensuring all work complies with company and statutory health and safety requirements. Completing service reports and associated paperwork accurately. Managing stock, parts and materials responsibly to minimise waste.
Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment in a clean and safe condition. Delivering excellent customer service at all times. What We're Looking For Essential ? Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or similar role ? Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills ? Full UK Driving Licence ? Good understanding of health and safety requirements ? Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively ?
Strong customer service and communication skills Desirable ? Experience working on plant hire equipment ? Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical fault-finding experience ? Relevant engineering or mechanical qualifications ? CSCS, IPAF or other industry-related certifications What Success Looks Like You'll be someone who:
