MET Technician

We are representing an established accident repair centre in Daventry that is currently seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their professional workshop team. The successful individual will play a vital role in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the centre’s reputation for excellence. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

Duties of the MET Technician:

Performing high-quality vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components
Conducting body and panel repairs, including alignment and structural work
Carrying out wheel alignment checks and adjustments when necessary
Collaborating with estimators, vehicle damage assessors, and the production team to promote efficient workflow

Requirements of the MET Technician:

Previous experience as an MET Technician, Panel Beater, or in a similar accident repair role
IMI or ATA qualifications are advantageous but not essential for experienced individuals
Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
Experience working on electric vehicles is preferable but not required
Full UK driving licence is preferred
