What's In It For YouThe Project Manager, Magenta, is an early career role responsible for coordinating and managing cross‑functional projects of varying scope across the Magenta organization. This role supports operational excellence by maintaining project schedules, managing documentation, coordinating cross‑functional tasks, and escalating risks or delays to keep initiatives moving forward. Working within established processes and receiving regular guidance, the Project Manager partners closely with Digital Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams to support project delivery and daily operational activities that contribute to the quality and consistency of Magenta’s work.
WhatYou Will Do
- Manage cross‑functional projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with defined timelines and scope.
- Track and report project progress; maintain schedules, action logs, and project documentation.
- Identify issues, propose basic solutions, and elevate risks or blockers when necessary.
- Coordinate tasks and resources across cross‑functional teams to support project execution.
- Reinforce cross‑functional collaboration by facilitating communication, ensuring accurate handoffs, and supporting alignment across Digital Product, UX/UI, and Engineering.
- Provide basic implementation oversight by monitoring task progress, identifying delays, and escalating issues to ensure smooth delivery.
- Maintain accurate and organized project data across tools such as Wrike, Jira, and Confluence.
- Support data management activities such as updating project trackers, ensuring data accuracy, and organizing information used for reporting and operational visibility.
- Support structured operating processes, templates, and standardized project management practices.
- Assist in preparing internal project communications, updates, and meeting materials.
- Support planning and logistics for recurring operational activities, including the biannual stakeholder survey.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance project workflows and team efficiency.
- Apply organizational knowledge to anticipate stakeholder needs, navigate cross‑functional dynamics, and facilitate alignment across teams.
- 1–4 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Basic understanding of project management concepts and willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to follow structured processes, manage multiple priorities, and escape appropriately.
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools (Wrike, Jira, Figma, Confluence) is helpful but not required.
- Problem‑solving mindset, proactive approach to tasks, and eagerness to develop new skills.
- Candidates without a 4‑year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience and potential are equally valued.
