Davidson’s E.H. Little Library, recipient of the 2021 ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries Award, seeks an Assistant Director of Collections and Discovery to inspire and lead a high-performing team in the development, management, and data-driven analysis of the library’s collections, acquisitions services, and resource sharing. If selected for this role, you will manage spending of a 1.5 million collections budget, lead e-resource and collection licensing negotiations, and develop the library’s research collection.
Partnering closely with library stakeholders, you will help shape the strategic vision for the library’s discovery systems and provide oversight for the library services platform (currently Alma). Serving on the library’s leadership team and reporting directly to the Leland M. Park Director of the Davidson College Library, you will be a key partner in defining and implementing strategies to support Davidson’s library of the future.
