Where Is The Work

On‑Site (5 days) in our new Engineering Test Lab as a Compressor Test Technician II.

This 1st Shift on‑site position is located at our HQ campus in Davidson, NC. The role involves validating new products, managing and repairing lab facilities, setting up tests, performing performance testing, rebuilding and modifying compressors, and continuously improving laboratory operations by troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment and collaborating with the Engineering department.

What You Will Do
  • Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support product development activities by operating commercial HVAC equipment, controlling test facilities, and collecting and reviewing experimental test data.
  • Independently install, modify, and build developmental commercial HVAC equipment and components, following engineering, agency, and test requirements.
  • Work with Test Engineering and other Technicians to install and utilize laboratory test equipment including data acquisition systems, power analyzers, flow equipment, and pressure and temperature measurement devices.
  • Independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC compressors and compressor test facilities.
What You Will Bring

Candidates without a degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.

  • Associate’s Degree in HVAC (or related technical discipline) and at least 5 years of relevant HVAC or compressor work experience is required; OR at least 7 years of relevant HVAC or compressor experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
  • EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to become certified.

$52,630.00 - $74,340.00
