No ABA experience? No problem — we'll train you!

Looking for More Than "Just a Job"

What if you could spend your workday helping kids learn, grow, communicate, play, and become more independent—and build a career while you're doing it?

At Autism 360, we're hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for our Huntersville team.

New to ABA? That's okay! This is an entry-level opportunity with paid training and hands-on support. If you're dependable, energetic, compassionate, and enjoy working with children, we can teach you the rest.

And our Huntersville location is a little different. Keep reading!

What Does a Behavior Technician Actually Do?

Think of yourself as part teacher, coach, cheerleader, play partner, and skill-builder.

You'll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help them develop skills that can make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives.

Your day may include helping a child learn to communicate what they want, practice social skills, become more independent with daily routines, or work toward an individualized goal—and yes, play is absolutely part of the job!

With support and guidance from a BCBA, you'll:

  • Provide engaging, one-on-one ABA therapy
  • Help children build communication, social, play, and daily living skills
  • Track progress using easy-to-use electronic data systems
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members throughout your day
  • Celebrate the little wins that can turn into BIG milestones
Not Your Typical ABA Clinic

Our Huntersville location brings learning outdoors!

In addition to traditional ABA therapy, this location incorporates farm-based and outdoor experiences designed to make learning engaging, active, and meaningful.

Your workday could include gardening, animal interaction and care, outdoor learning, movement activities, nature-based sensory experiences, group activities, and play-based therapy across different environments.

If sitting behind a desk all day sounds terrible to you... good news. You won't be!

You Might Be Perfect for This Role If...

You don't need years of ABA experience to get started.

We're looking for people who are kind, reliable, energetic, coachable, and genuinely enjoy helping children succeed.

You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass required background/screening requirements. Because this is an active, hands-on role, you should also be comfortable sitting on the floor, standing, walking, running when needed, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Experience working with children is helpful—but your willingness to learn matters, too.

Ready to Start Something Meaningful?

Maybe you're exploring a career in ABA, psychology, education, special education, social work, child development, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or healthcare.

Or maybe you simply know you're great with kids and want a job where what you do every day actually matters.

Either way, we'd love to meet you.

Come learn. Come grow. Come make a difference.
