Location and work arrangements:
In Davidson, NC, the role is onsite with colleagues Monday to Thursday;
Fridays can be worked remotely or onsite depending on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the General Counsel, Digital and serve as a senior member of the Digital Legal Team, supporting digital businesses across strategic units.
  • Act as a senior legal advisor to digital business and product teams, guiding launches and growth of products and services.
  • Lead and negotiate complex commercial and technology deals (software, SaaS, cloud, AI, data) and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams from idea to launch to bring connected products, digital services, and software to market.
  • Drive partnerships, channel and ecosystem relationships, and new go-to-market models as the digital business expands.
  • Enable sales and channel teams across business units to sell digital offerings, including coaching on negotiating commercial terms.
  • Lead cybersecurity legal support for digital businesses, partnering with cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Advise leadership on legal and market developments and translate them into practical guidance for the enterprise.
  • Assist in customer resolution processes for the digital business to preserve relationships and resolve issues quickly.
  • Guide procurement of digital technology from the legal perspective to enable rigorous operation of digital capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 8–12 years supporting commercial technology businesses, including negotiating software, SaaS, and digital product agreements.
  • Experience in industrial, energy, building, or enterprise software is a plus; experience supporting product and engineering teams during development and launch of technology products.
  • Strong business judgment and clear, practical communication; proven negotiation skills and ability to build relationships across business, product, and engineering teams.
  • Experience with technology partnerships, channel and ecosystem deals, and global commercial arrangements across multiple regions.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, data, and AI; ability to spot and address issues in deals and product launches worldwide.
  • Track record of building templates, playbooks, and tools to improve speed and consistency for teams.
  • Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time.
