Position Description GENERAL SUMMARY
- Develop and maintain strong customer relations in such a manner that they will purchase from Preferred to increase company sales and profit.
- Develop new customer accounts through cold calls, working potential customer lists and contacting contractors in the area, etc.
- Maintain positive relations and increase business with current customers.
- Accurately estimate materials needed and up sale.
- Provide effective product presentation to customers.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Negotiate pricing levels with customers in a way that will encourage business and also maintain profitability.
- Obtain and record current information on customers.
- Coordinate with Sales Manager the status of quotes and orders to ensure commitment to customers are being met.
- Oversee the formwork fabrication process.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets
- Make recommendations to Sales Manager for new product lines and pricing to remain competitive in the market.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as: discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- Attend relevant product training to increase knowledge as required.
- Attend and participate in relevant trade shows as required.

- High school diploma / GED
- 4 years of relevant product sales experience

- Industry relevant product knowledge
- Required - Valid driver’s license

- Forty to Fifty-hour work week
- Frequently
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
